The all new Combat Console Air sim game controller!!!!
In a nutshell the Combat console is a 32 button programmable
Game control device!!!!
The Combat Console was built to play Air combat PC games on and offline.
I originally built the console to use for Aces High, and IL2 Sturmovik 1946
Which it works beautifully in both of those games, but will also work in
many other air combat games,i will list some games at the bottom of page.
By looking at the above picture you get an idea of what it does
This layout is for aces high 2, you get immediate access to a game function
with the push of 1 button. You assign a button to a function in your game
just like you would a joystick,throttle or keyboard.

So why would i want one of these and what is it going to do for me?
The first thing its going to do is to give you quick access to a control function
so you are not looking straight down hunting around on your keyboard
trying to find a single,or multiple keys, to do what the Combat Console will
do with 1 button push!!!!
The Combat Console was made to be used during A Combat flight
You program up to 32 of the most used functions during a combat flight!!!!
You will notice in the above pictures the layout for my combat console
for aces high, these are functions that i want quick access to during combat
you will see there is Wep, Map with clip,zoom+ zoom-, Radio comms, Flaps ,
I also have my trackir assigned to the console!!!!!
You can program your own layout any way you like!!!!
What other advantages does the Combat Console have!!!
The design of the console itself!!!
The desktop console was designed to sit on top of your desk and fit nicely
between your joystick and throttle very comfortable for the average size man,
also the console from front to back is sloped down towards your monitor
so there is no visual obstruction to the bottom of your screen,
see that in pictures to follow, also the front button panel is tilted back at
a 25 degree angle, so all you have to do is glance down with your eyes
to see the buttons!!!!!!

you will notice a clear view to the bottom of your monitor
the bottom of my monitor sits about 3" above the desktop about average.

What else can the Combat Console do for me?
Well another thing it will do for you, is you will free up
32 button functions from your joystick,and throttle
and also not relying on your keyboard during combat
Anyone who has played online air combat games knows
that if you take your eyes off your screen for more then a
second or so can be deadly, mostly to you!!!!
Thats what the Combat Console is all about!!!
Construction of the Combat Console.
This is not made out of plastic and toothpicks.
The main cabinet chassis is made from 1/16 plate steel
then handbrake bent to form the front and back of the cabinet,
then a 24 guage faceplate is installed on the front of the
1/16 steel plate, the cabinet cover is also 24 guage steel
So what you get is a durable cabinet with some weight to it also
along with the rubber nonslip feet on the bottom, the console
will not move forward when you are pushing buttons
no need to velcro this baby to the desk!!!!!
All in all the Combat Console just makes game play alot
more easier and funner, you get access to a control function
with the push of one button!!!!
Something else we decided to do, instead of making only one
single screen printed faceplate that would already have assigned
functions,we decided to make a complete set of very nice vinyl
graphic labels ,quite expensive i might add, so that the player
can choose which functions he wants to use on his box,
we figured not everyone wants the same thing,so see below the
label sheet which comes with the combat console!!!!
